Full description

Ordnance Survey, 1880s, Ordnance Survey (Cartographic). SDV848.

Rectangular building shown on OS 25" (1880s) map to the south of Landcross Bridge.


Meade, H. M., 1978, Untitled Source (Worksheet). SDV8212.

Walls of stone then cob. Wooden floor with access to space above by large opening in north wall. Small square wood-framed window opening outwards on south wall, and arrow slit opening splayed inwards in corner of southwest wall. Walls plastered inside, so possibly previously inhabited. Pantile roof. Length 12m, width 6m. Tithe Map field number: 139. Field name: Garden.
