Several conjoined narrow linear and curvilinear earthwork ditches are visible on aerial photographs taken from 1947 onwards and on images derived from lidar data captured in 2016. The two longest run roughly parallel to each other and are aligned slightly downslope from Lucehayne. They are interpreted as the gutters of a catchmeadow system of post-medieval or 19th century date, perhaps channelling water mingled with manure from the area of the farmstead. At the eastern end they join or cross another ditch running perpendicular to them and aligned downslope. No features are depicted in this location on the available historic mapping suggesting that it fell out of use by the late-19th century.
