Plot 87 is listed as an orchard, named Martin's Orchard, associated with the Clist William Farm estate.

The remains of parallel ridges circa 5 metres apart were visible as low earthwork banks over an area of circa 0.2 ha on aerial photographs of 1946.
The visible banks fell within Plot 87 on the Tithe map and apportionments for Plymtree, listed as Martin’s Orchard. It was depicted as an orchard on the Ordnance Survey 25 inch First and Second Edition maps of circa 1880-90 and 1904-6.
The visible earthworks are therefore interpreted as the remains of banks made for fruit tree planting and improved orchard drainage, dating possibly from the post-medieval period or the 19th century and remaining in use into the early 20th century, but passing out of use by 1946. The banks were not visible as earthworks on aerial photographs of 1989 and have probably been levelled.
