Summary

Parish church. Girdled tub-font, of free stone. Encircled by thick cable, rather askew, 140mm from bottom. Above this is a broad band of palmetto or honeysuckle ornament, with stems interlaced. Above that, round the edge, a band of norman star ornament. Font has been broken in half across the honeysuckle ornament, carefully repaired. Lead lined. Remains of one staple are leaded in. Stands on square base, corners bevelled, and raised on a step 152mm high (clarke).
