Two curvilinear earthwork banks are visible on the lower slopes of Mountain Copse on images derived from lidar data captured in 2016. They are not depicted on the 19th century maps and by the late-19th century the area is depicted as mixed woodland. They are interpreted as the remains of medieval field boundaries that went out of use by the mid-19th century.
