Three irregular earthwork mounds, up to circa 15 metres wide on the high ground within Mountain Copse, are visible on images derived from lidar data captured in 2016. They are located in mixed woodland and trees obscure the ground surface on the available aerial photographs. Interpretation is therefore tentative; although their location could suggest that they are later prehistoric burial mounds, their irregular shape means that further investigation is required to interpret their date and function.
