Earthworks of possible medieval to 19th century building platforms are visible on aerial photographs of 1971 and on digital images derived from lidar data captured in 2016, at Hoemoor Farm. The three adjacent earthworks are sub-rounded to sub-rectilinear in shape, measure up to 34m in length and are situated on gentle southeast facing slope. There is no evidence of any settlement within this land parcel on the Parish Tithe map of 1838-48, suggesting that any structures present here passed out of use by this time. The earthworks should, however, be viewed with some degree of caution and it is also possible they are of natural origin, the possible platforms simply being formed by the many channels that cut across this land parcel.
