Plot 253 is listed as Lower Orchard.

The plot is depicted as an orchard.

The remains of parallel ridges spaced circa 5 metres apart were visible as low earthwork banks in a plot to the north of Lower Woodbeare, Plymtree parish, on digital images derived from aerial photographs of 2002 onwards and lidar data captured between 1998 and 2014.
The visible banks cover a small area of almost 0.1 ha, falling within a plot listed on the Tithe Apportionments for Plymtree as Lower Orchard. The plot remained depicted as two orchards on the early 20th century OS 25 inch maps available to the survey and was under moderate planting in 1946. The banks were clearly visible as earthworks on digital images derived from aerial photographs of 2016.
