The field boundary appears to have passed out of use by this time.

A former field boundary of between medieval to 19th century date is visible as an earthwork bank on aerial photographs of 1948 and on digital images derived from lidar data captured in 2016, to the south of Higher Stout Farm. The linear earthwork is northeast to southwest aligned and closely respects the historic field patterns of medieval enclosures based on strip fields. The field boundary appears to have passed out of use by the time of the First Edition Ordnance Survey map.
