A field boundary of potential medieval date is visible as an earthwork bank on aerial photographs of 1948 and digital images derived from lidar data captured in 2016, to the east of Stout Farm. The curvilinear shaped earthwork is broadly north to south aligned. The visible earthworks do not correspond with any field boundaries depicted in this location on the available 19th century mapping. This supports the interpretation that the field boundary had passed out of use prior to the late 19th century. The Parish Tithe map mosaic is incomplete here, so it is not possible to determine whether the field boundary was extant by this time.
