Haxton Down marked. Comparison with the Tithe Map shows the farmstead to have been enlarged with the addition of a new farmhouse with a semi circular garden, a horse engine house, a rectangular building(s) in front of the south-west end of the barn and another on the north-east side of the farmstead.
