Pottery set up in yelland manor in 1950s by michael leach, giving the existing old road on which the manor stands its current name of pottery lane. Pottery has since closed (collings).

Vis=19/10/1953(os) known as yelland manor the present house was built about 100 years ago and believed to have incorporated part of old manor house in the north west, but apparently a completely modern house with no visible trace of antiquity (os).
