Early to mid-19th century Tithe Map shows this as the main dwelling for the Great Warmhill Estate. There appears to be two joined dwellings which then are joined to a range of farm buildings to the north.
Apportionment records record these plots (534 and 535) as 'Wall Garden and Great Orchard'; part of the Great Warmhill Estate.

Ordnance Survey, 1880-1899, First Edition Ordnance 25 inch map (Cartographic). SDV336179.

Late 19th century map shows the buildings have been altered; changed from two roughly rectangular structures to one larger sprawling building, with extensions to the rear, and possibly front as well.

Ordnance Survey, 1904 - 1906, Second Edition Ordnance Survey 25 inch Map (Cartographic). SDV325644.

Unchanged from the late 19th century historic map depiction.

Ordnance Survey, 2017, MasterMap (Cartographic). SDV359962.

The modern map shows Vine Cottage which appears to have been subdivided from the northern end of Warmhill Barton.
