Full description

South West Heritage Trust, 1838-1848, Digitised Tithe Maps and Transcribed Apportionments (Cartographic). SDV359954.

A model farmstead shown on 1830s-40s tithe map. To the north are buildings arranged in an E-type form described as house and garden on the 1830s-40s tithe apportionment. To the south are buildings arranged in a loose L-shape. These are documented as farmyard on the tithe apportionment. Isolated buildings are also present.

The form of the farmstead has changed when compared to the the earlier tithe map. The house and garden present on the tithe map is no longer present. Linear buildings which make up a U-type mdel is now present, and a horse engine house is present to the south.
