A quay 200 feet long x 25 feet broad was built by Thomas Benson in the mid 18th century. In the early 19th century it was known as New Quay. During the second half of the 19th century the quay had been developed as Richmond Dock, New Quay & Iron Quay. Other details: Site 4.
