Earthwork banks of probable post-medieval to 19th date are visible on aerial photographs of 1947 and 1971, to the southeast of Goodall’s Farm, Hemyock. The earthwork banks are east to west aligned and occupy an area of approximately 0.04 hectares of west facing slope. The earthworks may represent the remains of a former orchard, the banks providing improved drainage and increased soil depth for the fruit trees.
