Full description
Ordnance Survey Archaeology Division, 1977, SS44NE14 (Ordnance Survey Archaeology Division Card). SDV72869.
Spindle whole found at Morte (?Mortehoe). Now in the National Museum of Wales, Cardiff. Of fine sandstone, 31mm diameter, 9mm thick with a central hole 10mm diameter (Emery Adams & Dewey, TDA 82, 1950, p.325).
