A rectangular structure, circa 3 by 3.5 metres in plan, is visible on aerial photographs taken in 1947. It is located on the east side of the railway line, in a similar defensive position to the pillbox recorded to the north (MDV52929). Its size, location and the date of the photographs on which it is visible suggests that it could be a pillbox forming part of the Second World War Taunton Stop Line. It is not visible on more recent aerial imagery.
