A pale linear cropmark, visible on aerial photographs taken in 1976, corresponds to an earthwork bank visible on images derived from lidar data captured between 1998 and 2014. At its southern end it is circa 12 metres wide and the lidar imagery suggests that it might have split into two parts at its northern end. It is not depicted on the available historic mapping and could be the relict remains of one or possibly two adjacent medieval field boundary banks or lynchets that fell out of use by the mid-19th century. However it is possible that it was associated with the designed landscape around Weycroft Manor.
