A curvilinear earthwork bank, up to three metres wide, is visible on aerial photographs taken from 1947 onwards and on images derived from lidar data captured between 1998 and 2014. At its eastern end it joins an extant field boundary on the same alignment and it is interpreted as the relict remains of a former field boundary. Its curvilinear form indicates a medieval origin, and it is not depicted on the available historic mapping so probably fell out of use by the mid-19th century.
