An earthwork ditch, circa 2 metres wide, is visible on aerial photographs from 1948 and on images derived from lidar data captured between 1998 and 2014. It seems to run broadly downslope from Brook Cottages to the watercourse, and could be a drainage ditch. It appears to be cut by the road or drive through Sector Park that is depicted on the late-19th century mapping, and presumably pre-dates it. It appears to cut though the probable orchard banks (MDV119085) and is likely to be post-medieval in origin.
