Two linear earthwork ditches, circa 1.5 metres in width, are visible on aerial photographs taken from the 1940s onwards and on images derived from lidar data captured between 1998 and 2014. One joins an extant field boundary on the same alignment at its western end and the earthworks may be part of the historic field system in this area. With straight boundaries compartmentalising rough ground, it is likely to be post-medieval or 19th century in origin. Since neither are depicted on the available historic mapping any field boundaries here are likely to have fallen out of use by the mid-19th century.
