A linear earthwork ditch, circa 1 metre in width, is visible on aerial photographs taken between the 1940s and 1976. It does not correspond to any features depicted on historic mapping, but a number of linear ditches are depicted in the area. It is aligned downslope and is interpreted as a post-medieval or 19th century drainage ditch, perhaps associated with a field boundary.
