Two parallel linear earthwork banks, circa 3 metres wide and 4 metres apart, are visible on aerial photographs taken from the 1940s onwards and on images derived from lidar data captured between 1998 and 2014. No features are depicted in this exact location on the available historic mapping, although the east end abuts a dog-leg in a field boundary that is depicted on the late-19th century OS maps. It is tentatively is interpreted as a possible medieval or post-medieval hollow way.
