A grid of earthwork ditches are visible on aerial photographs taken in 1948 and on images derived from lidar data captured between 1998 and 2014. The wider central ditch is perpendicular to parallel narrower ditches, resembling a post-medieval or 19th century catchmeadow. The system may have been fed from a longer ditch to the north-east, where an open fronted structure and small enclosure is depicted, perhaps operating as an integrated system that mingled manure with water.
