A linear ditch, circa 3 metres wide, is visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs taken in 2006 onwards and as an earthwork on images derived from lidar data captured between 1998 and 2014. No boundary is depicted in this location on the available historic mapping, although a dogleg in the extant boundary to the east is depicted. It is tentatively interpreted as the relict remains of a medieval or post-medieval field boundary that went out of use by the mid-19th century.
