Full description

South West Heritage Trust, 1838-1848, Digitised Tithe Maps and Transcribed Apportionments (Cartographic). SDV359954.

Recorded as Houses and Yard (380) on the Colebrook Tithe Apportionment.

Farmstead depicted with orchards around it. A horse engine house is shown on the north side of the northern range.

Landsend marked as the 'Remains of a Mansion'. The farmstead comprises two main ranges along the north and south sides of a yard that narrows towards its entrance from the lane at the eastern end. The farm house and garden make up the western side of the farmyard. Several open-fronted buildings are shown and also a horse engine house. The site is also marked as having the remains of a chapel.
