Ordnance Survey, 2000, OS/00973, OS/00973 V 80-81 19-MAR-2000 (Aerial Photograph). SDV359480.

A curvlinear earthwork bank was visible.

Bluesky International, 2016, LiDAR DTM data (0.5m resolution) Blackdown Hills and East Devon AONBs: 3 transects, LIDAR ST2508 Bluesky International DTM 24-APR-2016 & 30-APR-2016 (Cartographic). SDV359714.

The earthwork bank was not identifiable.

Hegarty, C. + Knight, S. + Sims, R., 2016-2018, The Blackdown Hills AONB and East Devon River Catchments National Mapping Programme Project (Interpretation). SDV359463.

A curvilinear bank less than 5 metres wide and up to circa 90 metres long was visible as a subtle earthwork north of Moxhayes Farm, Membury parish.
The visible earthwork does not match any boundary depicted on the Ordnance Survey First Edition 25 inch map. It has been interpreted as evidence of a former field boundary, potentially of medieval origin, that was removed prior to post-medieval enclosure. It may be a continuation of a former boundary depicted on OS First Edition map to the south. The bank is not visible as an earthwork on lidar derived images of 2016 and might have been levelled.
