Vis=6/11/1972(os) in a field of permanent pasture. No evidence of a building site though the tradition is known to the local farmer. It is not recorded in early histories such as lysons or risdon.

Respondent to dean milles questionnaire mentioned monkleigh chapel, formerly part of the abbey of tavistock but now in ruins, said to be 13 yards long and 4 yards broad (dean milles).
