A curvilinear bank, up to 2.5 metres wide, is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs taken from the 1940s onwards and on digital images visualised from photogrammetrically derived elevation data captured in 2014. It is on the same alignment as, and appears to be continuous with, an extant curvilinear field boundary immediately to the north. The Tithe or late-19th century maps for this area were not available, but no field boundary is depicted in this exact location on the early-20th century mapping. It is interpreted as the remains of a former field boundary of medieval or post-medieval origin that went out of use by the early-20th century.
