A rectilinear bank, circa 2 metres wide, is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs taken between 1996 and 2000. The Tithe or late-19th century maps for this area are not currently available to the project, but no field boundary is depicted in this exact location on the early-20th century mapping. However the earthwork manifests in the same way as a former field boundary in the field to the north, which corresponds to a field boundary depicted on the historic mapping. The earthwork is interpreted as the remains of a former field boundary of medieval or post-medieval origin that went out of use by the early-20th century.
