Several curvilinear earthwork banks, up to 3 metres wide, are visible on images derived from lidar data captured between 1998 and 2014, and partly on aerial photographs taken in 2010. Several of them terminate at dog-legs in the field boundaries depicted on the historic mapping and they are likely to have been part of the medieval field system here. The boundaries that have been transcribed are not depicted on the available historic mapping and are likely to have gone out of use by the late-19th century.
