Summary

A roughly L-shaped mound is visible as a curvilinear earthwork bank up to circa 6m wide and 20m long, within a field forming part of a medieval field system on the south-facing slopes north-east of Lower Cadworthy Farm. A low raised area extending north-east of the mound might be evidence of spread mound material.
The mound is interpreted as the remains of a clearance cairn, possibly of medieval date.

Large stone dump forming a level area uphill. Consists of large boulders and smaller stones and may represent an amalgamation of several smaller clearance cairns in Field Number 812 on the Tithe Map. The mound is circa 10 metres from east to west and 12 metres from north to south. The front scarp is up to 3 metres wide by 1.5 metres high.
