A pale rectilinear cropmark, circa 1.5 to 3 metres wide, is visible on aerial photographs taken in 2014, apparently enclosing an area of just under half a hectare in the corner of a field. The western side is narrow and just diverges from the line of the agricultural marks in the field; the southern side is less well-defined and runs roughly parallel to a cropmark of a boundary depicted on the historic mapping circa 45 metres to the south. The cropmark appears to respect the line of the road and could have been a similar date, but it has not been identified on any other available imagery and it is only tentatively suggested to have formed over the buried remains of a rectilinear enclosure bank.
