Summary

Parallel linear earthwork banks, visible on aerial photographs taken from 1947 and on images derived from lidar data captured between 1998 and 2014, are interpreted as post-medieval or 19th century banks for fruit tree cultivation that fell out of use in the 20th century. It seems to have been enclosued by a field boundary on the west side.

They are aligned cross-contour and are interpreted as post-medieval or 19th century banks for fruit tree cultivation. Orchard is depicted in this area on the available historic mapping, indicating that it went out of use in the 20th century. It seems to have been enclosed by a field boundary on the west side which is visible as a linear earthwork.
