Parallel linear earthwork banks, approximately 3.5 metres in width, are visible on aerial photographs taken from 1947 and indistinctly on images derived from lidar data captured between 1998 and 2014. No orchard is depicted in this area on the available historic mapping, but their width and cross-contour orientation is typical of post-medieval or 19th century banks for fruit tree cultivation. Any orchard here appears to have fallen out of use by the late-19th century.
