Site visited 12th may 1984. Bowl barrow in very fair condition, although in field that has been cultivated. Height estimated at 0.8 metres, 38.5 metres north to south and 34 metres east to west.

Southernmost of a tight cluster of three round barrows. This is the largest within the group and survives as a prominent oval mound 29.5 metres east to west by 24.3 metres north to south and by 0.9 metres high. Surrounding ditch survives as a buried feature except to the north.

Three bowl barrows 545 metres east of Cupper's Piece. The monument includes three bowl barrows situated on an exposed hilltop on the watershed between the River Torridge to the west and the River Taw to the east. The southern barrow is the largest of the three and survives as an oval mound measuring 29.5 metres east to west by 24.3 metres north to south and standing up to 0.9 metres high. The ditch survives as a buried feature except to the north where it is 3.9 metres wide and 0.3 metres deep. Sitting on the outer edge of the ditch is a section of outer bank 3.4 metres wide and up to 0.2 metres high.
