A curvilinear cropmark, circa 2.5 metres wide, is visible on aerial photographs taken in 1940 and 1947. Its north-west end terminates at the corner of a field boundary depicted on the historic maps and it is interpreted as having formed over a buried medieval or post-medieval field boundary bank that had fallen out of use by the late-19th century.
