Numerous curvilinear cropmark and earthwork banks and a ditch, up to 3 metres wide, are visible on aerial photographs taken from the 1940s onwards, and most are also visible on images derived from lidar data captured between 1998 and 2014. Almost all of them correlate with lines of mature trees that are depicted on the historic maps, and they are interpreted as the remains of former medieval field boundaries. They are located in land around Tillworth House, and may have been removed during post-medieval landscaping associated with building or rebuilding of the house.
