Greeves, T., 2007, Reddaford Farm, Willsworthy: An Archaeological and Historical Survey, 29, Figure 22 & 25 (Report - Survey). SDV360294.
The survey at Reddaford Farm identified six buildings and three features within the farmstead.
Feature A: Site of a possible roundhouse with a diameter of 6.5 - 7 metres. It was noticed by Hemery in 1983 who interpreted it as a possible horse 'corn grinding mill' to power threshing machinery. Its location on the south side of the barn within a plot called 'Mowhay' in the mid 19th century and against the level raised platform - Feature B - all support this interpretation.
GeoInformation Group Ltd, 2010, 1:625 2010 Colour (12.5cm resolution) (Aerial Photograph). SDV346026.
Circular feature shown on aerial photograph.
White, P., 2013, Previously Unsurveyed Dartmoor Historic Farmsteads, Redford, Whitehill (Un-published). SDV352501.
Redford listed as a lost farmstead.
National Monument Record, 2015, Pastscape (Website). SDV357603.
Site visited on 9th September 1979. The degree of deterioration of the buildings since 1907 is remarkable. Although the outbuildings are unmortared the site is probably Post-medieval. A moulded granite fireplace jamb survives. Plan shows buildings within hedgebanks, and a possible pillow mound.
Ordnance Survey, 2016, MasterMap (Cartographic). SDV359352.
Not shown on modern mapping.
