Full description
SUMO Services Ltd, 2017, Geophysical Survey Report. Challonsleigh, Lee Mill, Devon, 1, 3, Fig. 4 (Report - Geophysical Survey). SDV360349.
Several linear and curvilinear anomalies recorded during a geophysical survey on land to the east of Challonsleigh Farm are thought to be ditches associated with a former field system. In the absence of any supporting cartographic evidence they could be of greater antiquity, possibly prehistoric. Several other linear responses coincide with former field boundaries shown on 1888-1913 Ordnance Survey map.
