Full description

South West Heritage Trust, 1838-1848, Digitised Tithe Maps and Transcribed Apportionments (Cartographic). SDV359954.

Building depicted on the Tithe Map, although was detached at this time.

The early 20th century historic map shows this building now to be joined to the farmhouse by a range at the north-eastern end.

Buildings on the farm noted as being in poor condition. Building no 1 appeared to be the old shippon. It seemed to have had a loft and two large beams remained in situ to the east and west (figure 10).
Undated sketch plan and notes by Deborah Griffiths. Building 1 the possible shippon has no outer drain visible. Two doors and one window to cart shed (building 2). Two phases noted, additional unit added to west (west and south walls missing). ?Stable.
