Full description
Smith, N. J. L., 1992, Woodland Archaeological Survey December 1991 North Bovey Woodlands, 17, figure 11 (Report - Survey). SDV360446.
BB4 Mining remains. A complex of pits, gulleys, mounds were discovered towards the top of the slope in sector BB. Several sections of retaining wall were identified suggesting, with the rest of the archaeology, a former mining operation. Further industrial remains lie a short distance immediately to the west, where old shafts and the Great Wheal Eleanor (now disused) are situated.
