Full description

Smith, N., 1991, Survey Report of Sites and Monuments on Ugborough Moor and within woodlands at Owley, Peek Moor Gate and Pennaton Bridge, 10, figure (Report - Survey). SDV360448.

Two parallel east-west ridges / banks identified in 1991 survey, running through the woodland. They lie four or five metres apart and appear to originate from within the thick bramble/bracken area in the centre of the survey area and terminate near a deep, scooped out hollow at the eastern end of the woodland. May represent dry stream beds, or possibly fossilised prehistoric boundaries.
