Full description

Fletcher, M. + Newman, P. + Probert, S., 1998, Hawns and Dendles: An Archaeological Survey by the Royal Commission on the Historical Monuments of England, 18, Figure 13 (Report - Survey). SDV346246.

Small amorphous mounds represent evidence for tin streamworking on the east side of Broadall Lake. The remains extend to 0.15 hectares but have probably been reduced by the expansion of the marsh. Two dry leat channels formerly fed the workings.
