Full description
Ordnance Survey Archaeology Division, Untitled Source (Ordnance Survey Archaeology Division Card). SDV24.
Vis=19/9/1973(os) the three authorities disagree on the siting of the mansion, hoskins' siting doubtful because no trace of building platform on hillslope, ss68681114 ngr is preferred. An extensive 0.5m deep depression at the os siting probably indicates the site of the house.

Vis=estimated -/-/1953(hoskins) old house demolished 1832 when hon. Newton fellowes built present house in parish of wembworthy, it probably stood in front of large walled garden which remains on hillside near church.
