Full description
Berry, N. + Simmonds, T., 1996, An Archaeological Survey of Boro Wood (SX7571), Erme Wood (SX6357), Wistmans Wood (SX6177) and Newpark Waste (SX5961), 32, NW25 (Report - Survey). SDV360518.
SX5937 6145 - Bank and scarp. Low, denuded remains of bank and scarp, height 0.2 -0.5 metres, approximately 7.0 metres long, running north-west by south-east from stream bend. Scarp is highest nearest stream, forming slight terrace. Appears older than the existing low bank on map to the south. Poor condition, in area cleared of dense rhododendron cover.
