A curved, single ditch linear feature is visible on aerial photographs (p1). It is roughly 100m long, and creates a triangular enclosure as it butts up against two extant hedges in the SW corner of a field. The feature is sited within an area described as ‘Post-medieval enclosures' in Devon’s Historic Landscape Characterisation, and is likely to be a field boundary of post-medieval origin. Its curved shape however suggests the possibility that it is the remains of a large enclosure, later cut by the aforementioned field boundaries. It has been digitally plotted as part of the National Mapping Programme.
