An overgrown mound is visible on aerial photographs (p1) and was digitally plotted as part of the National Mapping Programme. A second similar mound lies 35m to the south. The features are possibly upcast from small-scale quarrying. They lie within an area classed as medieval enclosures based on strip fields in the Historic Landscape Characterisation for Devon.
