An extensive complex of drains is visible on aerial photographs (p1) and was digitally plotted as part of the National Mapping Programme. Many of the drains survive as extant ditches or ditches and banks but some are visible only as cropmark ditches. The drains extend over most of Hollow Moor, from SS 46287 01675 in the west to SS 48840 01307 in the east. The features lie within an area classed as rough ground in the Historic Landscape Characterisation for Devon.
